Greetings Summer Nights Series Track and Field Series Friends:


Living under these unprecedented times during this Coronavirus crisis has definitely been stressful on everyone and fully understand the frustration regarding track and field events at all levels from the youth, high school, college, open and Masters being cancelled everywhere. While serving as your USATF San Diego President, I have heard from many of you inquiring about the status of our sport and what potential opportunities might still exist in the future for athletes to salvage some type of competitive opportunities here in San Diego.

Unfortunately, due to the fact there are continual closures of San Diego high school and college facilities and combined with USATF San Diego priority for us to all remain healthy and safe we have cancelled the remaining events for this year's USATF San Diego Summer Nights Track and Field Series. We understand this news is disappointing but we remain committed to offering our Summer Nights Track and Field Series events in 2021. As always thank you for your ongoing support..


Just know we remain committed to our ongoing mission to provide Track and Field opportunities in San Diego in the future. Personally, I remain committed as your USATF San Diego President to continue serving toward this mission to the best of my ability.
