Situated at the edge of Kingswood Forest, The Stone Dragon tavern is on the border of the King's control. Consequently, it is a hotspot for outlaws and law-abiding citizens alike. A number of secret rooms, doors and passages enable outlaws to hide or make a quick getaway whenever the King's men come swooping in. As there is also an inn here, this is also a popular place for temporary travellers and explorers.

Danny nodded, trusting Thoth's assessment and seconding it with a quick glance to see the lack of swelling; the other boy was probably the best judge of broken bones of the two, all things considered, and he knew the best way to get Thoth to sit down and let him take a look would be getting Cypress taken care of first. As much as he could, at least... But he needed time to work, more time than they had. Danny lifted a hand to Cy's cheek, pressing his magic with a bit more strength this time. If they were going to move, and move fast, he needed to be sure she could do it with minimal pain. They didn't have time to try and help her hobble along, and carrying her would be unwieldy if trouble did follow them.
As if summoned by his own negative thoughts, sounds drifted from outside the kennel. As if sensing Thoth's thoughts, Cy pressed herself to his side and trembled. She wanted him to go, to be safe, but she also just... couldn't be without him. Danny nodded at Thoth's words, agreeing completely. Cy wrapped her good arm around Thoth's shoulders as he took hold of her waist and helped her stand. She swayed a little for a moment, still wooden-faced, but her gaze flicked trustingly to Thoth's when he spoke, and hugged her. She swallowed and nodded against his shoulder, agreeing to the plan even while her heartbeat fluttered uncomfortably, meeting his eyes again when he pulled back to study her face.
"Thank you," Danny told Aura as the goddess left, knowing Thoth wouldn't say the words himself. Cy released Thoth at last, her grip loosening and then falling away. Distress flickered in her gaze for a moment, feeling like she was floating now that she'd released her deathgrip on her lifeline, but Danny stepped in. He laid a heavy layer of his magic over her, illusion to disguise her injuries, Serenity Vibes to make sure she'd be stable enough - if a bit blank - should they be stopped, and as much healing and pain relief as he could manage quickly.
"We should be good," Danny told wolf-Thoth. He took hold of the wrist of Cypress' shirt, gently tugging her into motion. Cypress followed robotically, casting a nervous glance over her shoulder and settling only when she spotted Thoth again. He waited until he could hear Aura engaging with the guards - he couldn't tell what she was saying, but the Grim Reaper's appearance alone was plenty distraction. "Let's move."
He didn't breathe again until they hit the treeline. They'd moved quickly - the kennels were fairly close to the forest as it was - but the persistent fear of being stopped or interrupted was enough to give him heart palpitations. Cypress had managed to stand relatively straight as they walked, but out of sight of the castle she slumped slightly now, her fingers trembling.
"How far to the camp?" he asked Thoth as they followed behind. The sooner Cy got somewhere safe, the better. She was heading towards breakdown territory the faster her adrenaline faded.
