Situated at the edge of Kingswood Forest, The Stone Dragon tavern is on the border of the King's control. Consequently, it is a hotspot for outlaws and law-abiding citizens alike. A number of secret rooms, doors and passages enable outlaws to hide or make a quick getaway whenever the King's men come swooping in. As there is also an inn here, this is also a popular place for temporary travellers and explorers.

Cypress beamed at Thoth's nod, correctly interpreting that little frown. That was one of the things she l-loved about him; you knew where you stood with Thoth, because he told you. Secrecy wasn't his strong suit, something even living as an outlaw hadn't changed. She shifted slightly, resting a hand on his knee as she looked back up at Aura. The death goddess was studying her with a bit more interest than she liked, and Cy resisted the urge to gulp.
And then she began, and all thoughts, worries, and fears faded away. Cy's eyes were large, mouth just slightly ajar as she listened closely. Eselda? Poppy's Eselda? Was... Poppy! Tears gathered in the corner of her eyes, causing her to try and discreetly dab them away. How could she not, though? That sweet little girl, all the pain she'd had to have gone through, was bad - no, horrible, horrible beyond imagining - but she hurt so much for Poppy too. They'd become quite close, Poppy and the Destras, since they'd first met. She was like a weird aunt, dropping in with presents or news and - inevitably - damaging something. She swept in and out of the inn like a storm, leaving them all wind-blown and exhausted in her wake. But underneath her jovial nature, her jokes, there was an undercurrent of deep, profound sadness. How bittersweet it would be, to get Zel back - because they were absolutely going to get her back.
Cy rested a hand on Thoth's upper arm, making sure the movement was slow and predictable, as his hands balled into fists. She didn't get it either, honestly, but something about the way Aura said it... She said nothing, just gesturing politely for the woman to continue at Aura's pause. Another, longer silence followed the ending of Aura's story.
"Me too," Cypress said, looking up at Thoth as soon as there was a lull in the exchange between Aura and her son. Her hand drifted to Thoth's fist, easing it gently until their hands were linked. Then she looked back at Aura and said it again. "I'm going too. We'll bring her back."
"What part of get some rest means a pony- EEP!" Danny, who had ducked into the tent only to find himself directly face-to-face with Aura herself, let out a lady-like squeak and fell on his butt.
"We're going on a rescue mission. You'll tell my family, right?"
Danny sputtered, eyes inevitably dragging back to Aura despite his best efforts. "What are you talking- I don't even- Why..."
"Right?"
Danny threw his hands up in the air and fell back, full of drama.
"Where's Tristan when you need him?" he asked the sky. Then he winced. "Nevermind, he'd probably just join."
