Fear laced the Queen's heart once again. What if Mabbit wouldn't accept her, now that she had taken so long to answer him? What if he chose to abandon her? What if- "Come on Themis, get out of your damn head.." she thought harshly to herself. The man she hadn't seen in a while would be here shortly. Just as she was thinking about him, his scent hit her nares. Breathing it in, she felt a sort of relief. But then the anxiety started again. Would he think she was a freak for her new fur? She wasn't the normal Themis he knew anymore. She had f u c k i n g clouds in her fur now. "You called, my Queen?" the man had stopped outside of her den, worry lacing his own deep voice. Strangely enough, a smile broke from her lips as his voice entered her audits. A small shift in her mood. "Is everything okay?" A gentle laugh left her.
"Come in, Mabbit." she called out of him, allowing herself to sit down, leaning back on her haunches. Nothing would prepare him for what he was about to hear or see. She was different. And now, she was worried he would think she was a freak. I mean, cmon. Look at her now? She thought, desperately, on how to explain this to her right hand man, and hopefully soon-to-be mate. Mabbit was different to her, someone she would trust, someone she could lean on in the hard times. Someone that her sons could call father. And she was ready to spill her guts to this man. "Thank you.. for coming on such quick notice. I apologise for taking my time in getting back to you.. as you can see.." if he entered her den, she would be searching for his rubies. ".. Things have changed. As have I. However.. I must ask you.. does your question still stand? Does that offer still have some truth? Because if so.. I would gladly accept." she murmured. "To have you be a father to my sons. To stand beside me.. as King of this pack. If you'd be willing to do so." anxiety siezed her heart once more, panic surging through her veins whilst she waited for a response from her Mabbit.
