It was over. The war.. it was done. No longer did she have to worry over the fate of her Pack. Their side had technically one - Beartooth had retreated after an agreement between himself and Lucaya, involving their children. While Themis agreed with their terms, she couldn't help but feel a heavy weight on her heart. Several of her members had passed in this war. As they carried their dead home, Themis had to hold back her sobs, in order to look strong in front of her pack. As she walked beside Mabbit quietly, her heart burned with grief. Not only had they lost so many valued members, but they hadn't even taken out the one who had caused this mess - Phobus. He was still out there living his life in Tarben, unharmed. He was a coward. Themis pressed gently against Mabbit, stopping and closing her eyes for a moment. She could have lost him in this battle. Her son, Demius, had been injured as well. Yesimire could have been killed. Her family, for the most part, was still intact. She still had her loves. As they gently laid their dead in the middle of the clearing, Themis hopped up onto her rock and called out to her members to join her. The funerals would proceed here, so the dead could be laid to rest peacefully. "Welcome, everyone. For everyone still here, I'm immensely proud of all of you. You're here. You've survived, and we've won this war. Every single one of you were willing to give your lives for this Pack. For this, I'm extremely grateful." She spoke, before looking down at the bodies that laid before her. She hopped down from the rock, before making her way over to the group of dead. "You've all given your lives. Thank you." She whispered. She glanced at Mabbit, then to Demius and Yesimire, giving them solemn smiles. "I will say some words about each who have given their lives for Amberbjorne. Once I've finished, I would encourage you all to speak, share your favorite moments with them." Themis turned her attention to her living Pack Members, before giving a soft sigh. She turned her golden gaze upon two laying side by side, Onai and Jack. Star-crossed lovers, who had been through thick and thin together. "Jack and Onai. Jack, I put you on the front lines with myself, Mabbit, Demius, Yesimire, and Xolmin. You fought hard, you fought well. You and Onai were truly an inspiration. You had several children, ones who will avenge your legacy. Onai, you protected this Pack, and ran to help your love when he was slain. You gave everything in the name of Love. For that, I respect and honor you. Rest well, you two. You deserve it." She spoke gently, her voice soft but cracking under the weight of the funeral. She then turned, looking to Elara, Vader, and Natalya.. She gave a gentle smile, before beginning again. "Elara. We may have gotten off on the wrong foot, but you were a mother. You had your pups best interest at heart. You fought well against the father of your pups, I'm truly sorry your end was met like this. Vader, little Vader.. You were a fine soldier among our group. You truly had grown into a fine wolf. Rest well, little one. I'm sorry you've met your end. And Natalya. You were an excellent mother to little Rue. She'll be safe here under our watch, don't worry. I promise to look out for her always. I hope you know that you were never alone here in this Pack. We are your family. Rest easy, Natalya." She whispered the final part, before looking in the crowd for Rue. The girl had lost her Uncle and her Grandmother and mother all in one go. "Rue. I promise your safety. If you ever need to talk, my den is always open to you." She murmured. Before turning to pad over to the rock again. She hopped up, huddling close to Mabbit as she looked over her Pack, tears welling in her eyes. "Anyone who would like to say their goodbyes, please, go ahead and do so."
