When her mother nodded, Nadia felt a lot of relief. Larentia struggled up, the wound on her leg apparent but a bit less nasty than the day before. Nadia was amazed her mother could even still walk. Larentia moved stiffly, her face drawn in pain. Yet she showed no other indicator of her agony.
