Now here she was, trudging through a burnt forest in the midst of Autumns night. Her adrenaline high had worn off since she landed here, no more bloodshed or fighting to keep it up. Now she was just cold. Up ahead she saw a light, fire. Instead of running from it she ventured towards it, her violet eyes engulfed in the light. Around the fire sat two males, one of snow white coloring and one of grays and reds. The pure white one had horns on his head, something so unusual to her. So peculiar.
She smiled at them, lowering her head. "May I join you two? It's cold, and I could use the warmth to defrost my wings." She said, presenting herself shyly. She looked to both of them, the gray males hellish orange stare bore into her. "You can stay, I'm Kai. This is my friend Nairii." He said in a deep voice, slinking over to her side as she sat down. He wrapped his tail around her, his jaws drawing close to her audit. "I know something that can warm you up better though." His voice sent chills down her spine.
She smiled at him, nodding. They rose to their feet as Kai looked at Nairii. "We'll be back in a bit, she's dehydrated and needs some water and I don't want her to go off alone. It's dangerous at night with those Vampires lurking about." Nairii nodded, just looking at the fire. The two venture a ways off silently, before Kai gripped onto the lasses scruff and took her to the ground aggressively.
Fade in, fade out . . .
Rhaella couldn't help but smile in ecstasy as she laid there on the ground for a few rounds. By now it was almost morning. Her violet eyes trailed to look at him as she rose to her paws. "Don't get used to this." He said in his gruff voice, she nodded still smiling. "I was about to tell you the same." Kai gave a confused look, typically he had put women under his spell but he shrugged it off. She'd come back to him for more. They ventured back to the fire, which by now was gone. The other male was still there, seemingly sleeping.
Kai curled up a ways away from him, yawning before he too closed his eyes. Rhaella didn't quite know what to do, but she also curled up near the fire. Her eyes still open, looking to the sky. "What's so good about him? Why do women always go to him?" Nairii spoke, catching the lass off guard. She turned her head to look at him, her eyes staring into his. "I . . . I'm sorry." She said quietly. "I'm always the shy guy that gets overlooked because I don't stand out."
Rhaella smiled softly at him, moving over towards him. "Him and I were only a fling. If you'd like, I could give you a chance." She said softly before licking his cheek. Nairii smiled at her. "I'd love that." He said softly.
Fade in, fade out . . .
Just as their time had ended, an angry voice ripped into the air. "Nairii what the hell?" Rhaella quickly moved away from both of them, her eyes wide. "I - I'm sorry, I'm having a hard time coping with a loss, I'm not trying to- "Shut up, w h o r e." Kai spat, his eyes only staring at Nairii. "I'm sick of you, every time you see a girl you take her and then you dump her. I want to be loved, I want to find love and I can't if you insist on being around me all the time and then taking advantage of every female we come across!" Nairii spat, causing Kai to lunge towards him.
Nairii had impaled Kai through the stomach, as Kai spit up blood he lit up the ground under the two of them. His eyes closing as he watched Nairii struggle to get out alive, flailing Kai around before they both just collapsed. Rhaella couldn't look, she couldn't bare to see the sight of two more souls' lives being whisked away. And it was her fault . . .
