The light maiden had been asleep for two seasons, and with every passing day since her sudden coma she had grown a little in size or difference. Her seven tails disappeared one by one, and instead a horn sprang spiraling from her crown. She slept in her den she shared with her mate, still breathing but growing weak. Nothing was seen or heard by her within the coma, she hadn't seen her mate or heard his voice. Surely, it could only be from the unbearing trauma of what Phobus had done to her.
As he body changed in its magical attributes, it also changed in other ways - Her belly was growing large and moved often as of late. And on this crisp mid summer morning, a sharp pain brought her back seemingly to life. A scream left her maw as she rose to her feet, startled by everything. The snow was gone, her tails were gone, and her head hurt from the new horn that spiraled from her cranium -- But even more startling was the large belly that hung from her body.
She began to breathe heavily, looking frantically around the den for her beloved. She wanted answers, comfort, to see his face after seeing nothing but the darkness. Wasn't it just the night before on the cool autumn night that she and Helius had wed and shared their love together intimately? How was she pregnant and ready to burst already, and why was she so big . . . Her eyes looked to the entrance of their den, and her mouth quickly parted into a pained howl for her mate.
Fade in, fade out . . .
What the hell was happening? She was still so stunned by her new appearance, her pregnancy and all that she didn't realize she was finally done. Her breathing stabilized and the pain had stopped for the most part, though blood still trickled. Her shaky body looked to the children, now likely suckling. Her violet eyes stuck to the dark colored ones, scanning them over as if she feared for the worst. She was so fearful of what Phobus had done to her, if he could have made her pregnant, that she grew wary of all of the children who didn't look like Helius. Even the ones who resembled her, she couldn't be sure until they were older. Surely, Helius was already here. She looked to him with worry and concern in her eyes. "What the hell did I miss? How long have I been asleep?" She said with tears in her eyes.
"It's over when I say, & you're not getting rid of me!"
