The Hallowess watched the Tarben mutt carefully, cautious of what may come from this encounter. This was her first and only encounter at the borders, she wasn't even sure if Kratos would be alright with her accepting any new faces. However serving in the war likely had earned her the right to. This girl was close to crying, was the Hallowess that frightening in her new form? “I am Nadia, I’m from Tarben, yes, but no more. Long before Tarben was formed, my father was still a womanizing bastard, and he stole my mother from her soulmate, then knocked her up. That produced me. My father is the Dane King of Tarben. He kicked myself, my mother, and my one surviving sister out; I guess either he got sick of us or he finally realized that I wasn’t loyal to Tarben.”
The witch felt a twist in her belly at the words of this girl, Nadia. “I will gladly go if you wish it; I just thought I’d try my luck with Dawnshire since, you know . . . I didn’t think I would be recognized, and I wanted to start over new. I haven’t ever known what it’s like to be included in a pack since my brother and I were always outcast and ignored, thanks to my mother’s reputation." The girl ducked her head, a likely finally letting herself cry. Esmae came down from the tree she sat in, her paws hitting the ground with a loud thud. She was a meer inches away nose to nose with the girl should Nadia not shrink back from her. Her amber eyes looked to meet those hueless of the crying woman.
"Albinsim is a clear trait of Tarben, you stuck out like a sore thumb." Her voice was a bit gentler. "I am sorry for your troubles, your heartache. Dawnshire would surely love to have you and your children when you bare them. Please take the time you need to find somewhere safe inland to make a den, have them, but please also seek King Kratos when you are well enough. He would likely wish to meet you and hear your story. You're the only who has sought refuge from Tarbens hold, and after such a disaster of a war many hold hate in their hearts for your family roots. He'd for sure let you stay, but more than likely wish to make your presence known to the others so they don't see you as an intruder or a threat like I had originally." She took a breath after her explanation. "Don't cry for your past, your future has only begun. As will your childrens. Welcome to Dawnshire, Nadia."
