The Queen watched silently from the shadows as the new member played with the recently returned teen. She knew Jekyll wanted to speak with her, but it was all too amusing seeing him work and teach the young one. Chickadee was so young and curious of the world, and so full of life. She was truly a joy to have around, especially seeing how much Daneliya had thrived since having her. Losing a mate before he can even see his children . . . That must have been traumatic.
Though the Queen had no idea how the man had died she was not too concerned. Death was inevitable, the only reason she had surly not passed from age was because of her bloodline. The ever-youthful grant of life was refreshing, as she knew she could be with her mate and watch their children grow up. Unfortunately, Daneliya and Chickadee wouldn't know that kind of life. So watching her spend time with an adult male really made her happy, as he showed some sort of fatherly manor in how he taught her.
When she heard Jekyll mention of speaking to the leaders her audits perked to attention, she smiled softly and silently stepped out as she spoke. "We do not have a flowing water source, instead we have a small pond near the mountains. All of the snow melts and washes down there." She spoke out, her crown of horns and the trees that loomed above shading her. "What are you looking to make Jekyll? I must say, I'm intrigued."
