The lonely teen, a rarity among wolves, wandered across the realm. She eventually came to a packland, and she rejoiced, for she needed a home amidst all the dangers that had recently cropped up. Cats, weather, crocodiles. She was fearful of these troubles. She figured a pack would afford her protection. The girl released a soft howl.
Her pelt was comprised of the most beautiful autumn hues. She had heard no rumors of this land of vampires, of war maidens and seasoned soldiers. She would not fit in among them, and yet she surely someday would. Her leopard tail twitched from side to side. She was nervous and scared. Would they not want her here? Was she not welcome in this place? She hoped she was, for she could not adequately defend herself. Gaëlle was not the war type, and she had a gentle disposition. She would never kill and she balked at any mention of fighting. Hell, even arguing was too intense for her. She was just a quiet, shy wolf.
Gaëlle’s ears swiveled as some crunching entered her audits. Through some fallen leaves, a rabbit hopped. It stared at her, then dashed away. Gaëlle chuckled.
“For you I’d bleed myself dry.”
