In the light of the recent events, Lucaya felt a shift change in the air. Autumn was such a beautiful and peaceful time for the world, yet in her domain everything seemingly stayed the same. Cold, gloomy almost. Yet the time of marriage was upon her daughter. Her first daughter to be wed to another pack, and the same for her sister. All to a pack who held their once prisoner. Tarben was a deeply despised pack for this and many other actions. Who could love the man who set free a rapist, imprisoned women, and sold off women to men for breeding purposes? She wanted to free them, but how? The look on Wendigos face when her mother asked of Drevis's want to stay in Hawthorne or Tarben worried her most of all. He was scared of losing her, but it seemed he was also scared of leaving Tarben. This was the decorated war sargent of Tarben, a high ranked warrior, the Delta male.
She worried for the sake of her sister, what would become of her in such a position. She had been fortunate enough to be spared the audience of the battlefield where they had lost so many. But as an assuming Delta, she now was in a place of danger. How many more had to suffer at the jaws of Beartooth and his vile ways? To top it off, she had been wanting to recreate with her own husband again. Though she knew she could never replace her family members who had fallen, she wanted to expand their bloodline further. Her crimson eyes hadn't seen him for quite some time, not since Thyrius came home with his own child. She deserved playmates of her own kin, though Ambrose was seemingly getting along with her well. Skade had even come home with news of finding her soulmate in a forest of fireflies, a Beta from Amberbjorne. Perhaps it was time to enhance their alliance further, as Phobus had put quite a weight on their connection.
Nevertheless, she wanted more children with Nibris. Their first litter was unplanned, but still turned into beautiful creatures. Now what could happen with new ones? She ultimately missed being close with her husband, he had been away most days it seemed. She saw him in the days of their waking, but ultimately they were apart in the night. She sighed as she paced the throne, before walking back to the den they shared. He wasn't in there, and she sat down. Her crimson eyes shut for a moment, before she rose her maw to the sky and called for her beloved. Hoping he would come home to her, hoping to hear her out.
Walk, "Talk", Think.
