The angelic female knew she stood out amongst all the wolves here in Hawthorne, but it was her home. She could not help but feel like an outcast due to her lack of a draconic or even venomous appearance. But the female did not let those thoughts weigh on her too much – Oracle had given her these bloodlines after his passing. He had fit right in with his scales, but…Kelsea’s mind flashed to Beartooth and the war scene. She shuddered. During her pregnancy, she kept being haunted by those nightmares, cruelly replaying Oracle’s death over and over. It made her emotional, and thankfully Maverick was able to help during some of those fits, but he had duties to attend to. There were not many new pups in the pack right now for her to attend to, now being a Zeta alongside Fara, but even Fara’s children were in their teenage months, if not young adults by now. But Kelsea felt that soon, soon her and Mav’s children would arrive. Kelsea was sitting alongside the cliff where Oracle had given the newfound appearance to his sister. She softly smiled, looking out at the landscape below. Oh, only if the children could have met their uncle. She was about to sigh just as a contraction hit, so her sigh turned into more of a ‘haaah’ in pain as she breathed it out. The pups. Her head whipped back, her body slowly rising to a stand as she walked her way back to her and Mav’s den, trying to fight off the contractions by keeping her breathing stable, but even with that, some groans would come out. Upon reaching the den, she entered and tried to call out for her mate. ”Maverick!” Hopefully he would hear, because her call was moreso breathy as the contractions happened sooner and sooner. She had to make that walk to the den, after all. fade out, fade in The birth was rough for Kelsea, being that she was a first time mom who thought she was stronger than she actually was. Had she been resting, the angelic lass probably would not have been so tired. At her stomach, nursing, lay four children – two males and two females. Two pups were interesting – they had what appeared to be the base of dragon wings, but in what would be the webbing were feathers? That certainly was not something Kelsea had seen before in Starfall. The other male had the draconic features, but had ripples of his ethereal bloodline throughout his pelt, much alike to his father’s. Again, that was another difference – Kelsea had not seen a wolf such as her son. The other female was donned with a pelt as pretty as her own, though much more colorful. Perhaps she was a vampire as well? No matter. Kelsea’s light eyes would look for Maverick, who was hopefully there. She’d speak softly upon meeting his gaze. ”Samael, Lucifer, Dina, and Megaera.” Her eyes would drift to first the male pup rippled with ethereal colors, then to the male amphitere, then to the female amphitere, and then to the female painted with the sky. She would look back to her mate and give a faint smile. ”Been thinking about names for a while now…what are your thoughts?” She spoke once again, words breathy as she laid her head on the floor of their den. Actions and thoughts/others and "Words."
