ALL THEIR CRIES WILL GO UNHEARD
Every breath the Dread took felt like hot fire in his lungs. Burning him from the inside out. He didn't have time to wait for preparing a speech, as Dragons flew in towards him. The first to land being a small child, looking like one of Wendigos kin. His hellish eyes bore into her as she spoke. “I am Seraphina, born of the Danes, a dragon, I’ve come to fight with you.” A small tsk left his lips, yet he couldn't help the small grin on the corners of his lips. Graceful as ever, a familiar scent and face showed up. His fires gazed at the woman of fire and ice.
"Balerion, it's been some time. Perhaps too long. Is the little one yours? Whatever your plan may be, I will follow you brother." He stood silent and solemn as his own daughter came forward, to answer his sisters question. "She is not, but I am of his kin. So is my sister, I am Meyles." A smile still ignited on the corners of his lips, the rage filling him subsiding somewhat as hurt and happiness swirled. It was becoming a reunion. "I will fight with you, both of you."
Lastly, one of Beartooths bastards wandered in. Radke, son of Rayne. She had recently passed to his knowledge after bearing his nephews with Mori. The boy had very little to lose for Tarben. "It wouldn't be our first fight together, I am with you." Balerion gave a nod, before stepping onto the stone to overlook them all. "We may wait a while longer as others come before I speak of our buisness." His deep voice bellowed, flames still flickering behind him in the rage fit he threw.
Perhaps waiting for more heads to show, or not. He'd clear his throat and begin to speak. "I am Balerion, first born of the Dracarae to Starfall." He started. "I am the Beast of the North, the Black Dread. Born of darkness, and the inflictor of fear and blood. It was I who set the field ablaze for all to burn and rot in Phobus's War, and I who slew the daughter of the Vampire Queen. Should The Dane King not have practically handed his child as a key to The Vampire Queen, I would have brought Tarben to victory." He growled, his back turned to Tarben as he spoke.
"Brothers, sisters, daughters and sons, friends and allies. We will have a new home where we fit in. We will take Drekistone, our birthright. We will strike down whatever halfwitted royal sits their asses on the throne and whoever dares to follow them. For they were stupid enough to steal what isnt theirs." He spat. "There will be no deals, there will be no surrenders or mercy." He looked to the adults, before glancing to the small cream child. "Seraphina, while it raises me no question who your father is or if you would make a strong fighter, I cannot willingly put a child into war. You will be more than welcome to follow us once we take Drekistone, but I cannot in good conscience let Wendigos child die." He spoke softer, yet still strong. "I wonder if his woman knows of you." He gave her a grin. His mindset began to twist. Wendigo and him were the mates of the two Hawthorne royal prisoners. Now he had lost Lahmer. Perhaps he could run Drevis from Wendigo. After all, if he wasn't happy, no one could be. "We will train for three weeks, and strike on the last days dusk."
