| Heart | Princess of Tarben | Heirs | Metalhead |
Her days were spent typically keeping her eyes out on Larentia, Nadia, and Boiko. She needed to keep them in line. Her siblings did not like her ways, and that she knew well. If they could, they'd probably run away to their hearts content with their precious mother. That was a coward move that they had already done before. The fear in their hearts was amusing as they knew darling mother was trapped in a cage of ice for her treachery. Why did she think she could run from her pledge, from her ownership? If the Princess was in that kind of situation, where a man fought for her against three other wolves - Well they'd have her heart on a silver platter.
Her mother was lucky. Lucky to be here, lucky to be spared and alive. Sure she knew of her fathers demands and about her knew pregnancy, but it's all in place of killing her instead. Larentia would not have lived if he didn't spare her. Surely living out her days as a broodmother in a cage was not a good life, but she deserved it. She abandoned her, and so did Nadia and Boiko. That was the difference between her and Beartooth, Beartooth was cruel and ruthless but he never gave up on her. He always taught her their ways. The Dane laws. She'd live them until the day she died.
Ares would surely be a great brother in arms to her and father. Father saw a spark in him. Something he didn't see in many, but he offered to teach him their ways. Pontchartrain was another he saw promise in, a large man with surely brutal strength. Not to mention, he was an elemental of Mist. No one had heard of such a thing. He seemed to almost be flirtatious with her at the meeting, something she took lightly for the time being. He didn't try to act on anything, only his words were flirtatious. Since the meeting they had grown a bit too, two elders who were now Gammas and a woman of Fathers past, a Theta.
Her day was spent inside her den, as she didn't feel like staying out in the cold. It'd be a day of rest. It was supposed to be a day of rest, until she smelled a musk of a male outside her door. ”Skadi?” Her head picked up as she heard a thump of what she presumed was the man sitting down outside. As she came out of her den, she found the man before her. Pontchartrain. ”I- I- would like to speak with you. About our duties as Betas.” She smiled at him, a small laugh escaping her jaws. "Cute stutter." She said first before sitting down in front of him. "There's not much on that matter, should my father be out or fall in combat we would reign in his place. We take his battles if he is not here and someone tries to take his throne, and we counsel with him. He's a rash man sometimes, but that doesn't always make him irrational. We'd have to keep him in line, his temper is a time bomb. More so, we'd discuss strategy with him."
She looked around, to make sure no one was nearby to hear her before she spoke again to him. "As my comrade, I feel it's only right to tell you this. My father has brought in a new wolf, a woman who says she's seen my uncle Bastian. Bastian had traveled towards us, but not past the mountains in his direction. That points to Hawthorne." She said calmly, pausing in her words. "My father wants Bastian dead, and their other brother who many be tagging along with Bastian. So our King wants to quite possibly spark a war with the biggest pack in Starfall, and take something of there's as they had taken from us." She said quietly, looking down to her paws. "We need our numbers to grow. Surely father is reproducing at an alarming rate which isn't out of his ordinary, he's a conqueror. But we need more able ready wolves to fight should they march on us." She looked back to him, a small flicker in her red, hueless eyes. "But tell me, Pontchartrain. Is that the only reason you came to see me? For spouts of knowledge of our duty?" She grinned.
