How much time had passed? It did not really feel like long, yet Redd remembered like it was yesterday when he was a pup. Now, he was a young adult. His father, Alistair, was nowhere to be found. Not like the boy cared much, he was flourishing on his own for the most part. Though, Redd certainly lacked most manners and was not necessarily the kindest, as he was never taught those things. Did he care all too much? No. He did not interact with many other wolves, and they refrained from talking with him. Perhaps it was the reptilia mutation he had acquired not too long ago? The red, white, and black scales of a milk snake covered several parts of his body, the most noticeable patch being around his right eye that moved down closer to his jaw, while other spots were scattered amongst his frame. It was likely that the splotch of scales on his face deterred other wolves, Redd seemed to be one of the few reptilia wolves graced with scales on his face. His bulky bodice, which had fleshed out over the last year, appeared to glide amongst the snowy lands. It seemed as if where he was, was the only area affected by snow and ice. Winter was approaching fast, and it appeared as if it hit these lands quicker than others. Redd was near the Ice Caps, to which he had been once or twice, but he heard rumors about a pack just past the peaks. His midnight blue eyes almost spotted with snow themselves scanned over the areas ahead, to look for any signs of civilization. Not much farther past the ice caps, he swore he saw movement. Then the scents of various wolves blasted his nose, most of which being female. There were some strong odors of particularly dominant males, one of which was likely the alpha. Redd had decided, mainly influenced by his hormones reacting to the female odors – he would attempt to join here. Maybe find a mate. Upon detecting the border, Redd let out a howl, calling for a member of the lands to greet him. Maybe not the best mannered approach, but Redd was just guessing as to what his behavior should be. Once again, his father had not taught him much, as Alistair was empty from most of his life. Redd, nonetheless, waited patiently for a wolf to greet him at the borders of Tarben. Actions & Words.
