Nadia swept Boiko aside after the meeting, face sheathed in determination and anger. Boiko, a word, please. She hustled him to a copse of trees that hid them from sight plus was far away from the prying ears of Tarben. What were you thinking, going out, finding a girl, and tumbling her?! Without knowing her! Without stopping to think that-she might not be the best one to tumble?! She growled in exasperation. Boiko, you have to understand, what you did was wrong, and not because you slept with somebody. I can't stop you from doing that. But . . . Natalya. The girl you slept with. I know her, and the truth is that she's our half-sister. She is a child our father left Elara carrying. Boiko, you two are incredibly stupid. Looking at her brother's face, she could tell he was about to faint.
Boiko, pull yourself together. You can't see her again. This needs to stop! Nadia berated. You behave recklessly and stupidly, and don't try to rein yourself in. Nadia sighed. She couldn't believe it. Natalya would need to be talked to. She'd have to meet with her as soon as possible.
Nadia was really mad. She was angry at Natalya, furious at Boiko, and a bit mad with herself. This shouldn't have happened. They were related, for crying out loud! And she had no idea what Beartooth and Elara would say. Well, Nadia knew what she could do. She could keep them away from each other. Yes, if it came down to that, she'd find a creative way.
