The thought of their daughter living in Hawthorne lands had been keeping the Queen awake at night. Her poor child, probably worried out of her mind about how she would get back home? Probably surrounded by brutish men who didn’t care at all for her well-being. Soraya couldn’t imagine the mental battle that Aethelflaed would be having. After watching Elden perish in battle and their other child now a prisoner, Soraya had been dealing with her emotions privately. Beartooth had been there, but he celebrated their deaths. He chose a different route. Soraya needed time to grieve, needed time to mourn the loss of Elden, the loss of Aethelflaed. Her heart broke for them. During the meeting, she watched as her daughter Lova was swooped up by a newcomer, Kublai. Her only wish was that he would treat their daughter well. Odin, Uhtred, and Haldaki were her only children now living in their lands, as well as Lova. She figured she wouldn’t see her daughter for some time. The words Beartooth had told her at the meeting - Pupping was always best after battle. Was she ready to bring more kids into their world? She wanted more, she always would want more with Beartooth. There was just something that kept her coming back. Her love for him would always be growing exponentially. She wouldn’t mind give her current children more brothers and sisters to love and to cherish, plus it would grow their pack. Some outsiders would be needed as well, if their pack were to grow and pup even more. With those words in mind, the lady sat up in their den. Beartooth wasn’t here. He would be soon, if she were to call for him. Especially for this reason. Soraya was starting to get warm just thinking about him being with her. She finally stood, making sure to clean any clinging moss or dirt off her fiery pelt before poking her head outside of the den. He wasn’t right outside either, so she pushed her way out and sat down, raising her crown to the sky and calling for her lover. Her rose tinted orbs gazed around as she lowered her head, waiting for Beartooth to arrive. As she waited, her mind flashed to the thought of Aethelflaed once again. Was she doing ok? Would be be okay with more brothers and sisters? She hoped that she didn’t feel abandoned, that she knew that Tarben was simply abiding by Hawthornes rules until the time was right to get their daughter back.
