Rayne was not a hard wolf to carry, compared to the corpse he had carried back from the war. But it was a different sensation to say the least, carrying something alive in his paws rather than dead, and he preferred the latter. When they had reached his den, he had gently placed her down and gestured to his den, asking if the lass would like to have children with him. She had a long winded response, starting with “Well. . . . To be honest, I’m not completely sure. I think so. It’s not like I have any alternate jobs anyway; I’m just a zeta. And to be fair, I feel lonely. My family is nonexistent.” and ending with “I say . . . let’s give it a go.” He nodded, and walked into his den, where if she had not already entered, he hoped she’d follow. Mori was excited to lay with someone, a smile on his face. Eventually, when she entered his den, he’d walk his way behind her and mount her. fade out, fade in Mori got off her once their rendezvous was finished. It took a few moments for Mori to realize the repercussions of what they had just done. If this was fruitful, Mori and Rayne would create new life to bring into the world. Surely, Beartooth would be happy, as it would mean more members for Tarben, but the emerald dracarae boy had yet to decide if he wanted little beings of his own when he’d much rather be responsible for disposing of dead bodies. Could he manage little ones? Nonetheless, Mori made his way towards Rayne’s side, and would sit next to her as she recovered. ”You okay, Rayne?” He’d ask, feigning concern as his violet eyes looked to meet her sage green ones.
