The weather was getting colder as winter was approaching. Hermes felt the cold winds blow through his feathered wings as he soared above Sabertooth. Aurora had crossed his mind every time he did this, as he was constantly hoping that she managed to escape Tarben without his aid and make it to Sabertooth. As much as he wanted that to be a reality without consequence or his interference, it was something that he’d have to face. He thought a thousand times over how it would affect Sabertooth – their pack was strong. Perhaps Tarben still was weak from the major war that they were not involved in. If anything, Sabertooth was closest to the strongest pack right now as they had no massive casualties from the war…except Lazarus. His hot pink eyes shifted to the side at the thought of her as he remembered how she appeared at the meeting, and how she passed shortly after stopping. Seeing Artemis cry over her lost wild-dog friend. Anger began to bubble inside of him. Tarben could not get away with hurting another individual, one of which the prince of Sabertooth had cared for and adored, despite only meeting the aurora borealis pelted lass once. His hot pink eyes widened as he reflected back on their interaction at Wildflower Fields – they had mated. He stopped in his flight path, flapping his wings enough to keep him in the sky but not to go any specific direction. The pink male had not seen her since their mating. Was she with child? Hermes needed to know – after all, it would mean that he was a father. Furthermore, if he was indeed a father, Hermes certainly did not want his children growing up in the lands of Tarben. He spat at the thought. He couldn’t allow their monstrous ways to corrupt his potential children. It was then that the male decided to fly towards Tarben, as anger really clouded his thoughts. The boy would not realize the consequences of his action until another war broke out over possession of the said children he hoped for from Aurora. For the winter sunrise male did not know that Aurora had also mated with a wolf in Tarben already – Odin, son of Beartooth. It would be a battle between the princes, one that would shake the standing of both Sabertooth and Tarben. Would Nightingale come stand to the side of Sabertooth? Surely that would be the case – Almathea was mates with their new alpha, Cato. As for Shuu, the other pup that Achilles and Pandora had adopted, well, he was almost non-existent. Or at least, Hermes thought. As he flew over Tarben, he got a quick glance of a wolf very eerily close in appearance to is adopted brother. He thought nothing of it, as these thoughts of war as a consequence of his plan had not even crossed his mind. Bright pink eyes caught onto the lovely borealis female, who, from this height, looked pregnant. His eyes then shifted to a wolf similar in appearance, and size, to Beartooth. Hermes without much thought let out a snarl and dove straight down. Hermes called out to Aurora - ”Aurora!” with a tone of concern. The wolf he’d come to know as Odin looked up and immediately went into a defensive stand, ready to leap and attempt to fly with his own set of wings depending on what Hermes would do. Hermes, if Aurora would allow for such to occur, would quickly swoop in, and grab ahold of her just as cries were heard out in the distance, to which the Tarben male would whip his head to before turning back to Hermes, who would have by then had Aurora high enough in the air to be just out of reach of a lunge or jump. Odin snarled, planting his paws firmly on the ground as he yelled. ”Give me back, my mate!” Hermes noticed the ice begin to shake beneath his flight path. His hot pink eyes widened, and he skirted to the left just as a large icicle rose from the ground from which he was just above shortly after the brown male had finished his demand. Odin prepared yet another large icicle, to which Hermes said ”Hold on!” as he barreled upwards and away from Tarben, with his lovely princess in tow, once again, the ice spear just missing him. He looked back once more to see Odin attempting to fly but due to probably little practice and the cold air on top if it, his wings failed, causing the large brute to tumble back to the ground. A small chuckle left his maw as he looked down to Aurora. ”They had you paired with that klutz?” He spoke, toothy grin on his face. In the distance, Odin shouted. ”You’ll rue the day you messed with Odin, son of Beartooth!”, which frankly, these words were not processed by the pink skyling male as he was in his glory over what he had just accomplished all by himself. Actions and Thoughts/Others and "Speaking."
