Cas had been full to bursting with thoughts of Megaera, his lovely bride-to-be, as he had counted down the days to their wedding. The event was to be hosted in Sindri, since Megaera was coming to live in Sindri. Castiel couldn’t stop thinking about the ess who was to be his wife.
He knew he was doing his cousin and his pack a great service by binding them to Hawthorne as an ally. Gwydion was to do the same, though Swallowtail had arranged so that he would marry a future daughter of the king and queen of Dawnshire, to give Gwydion some time to acclimate to the orders she had given him. Castiel’s stoic warrior of a brother hated being arranged into a marriage, but Cas knew he would marry whomever Swallowtail told him to. She was their cousin, after all. And Gwydion was nothing if not loyal.
The Zodiac bounced, eagerly awaiting Megaera’s arrival. He had no idea when she was to arrive, or if she was bringing a lot of others with her to bear witness to the ceremony.
