The Witch Queen felt rushed into all of this, knowing too well she was rushing the new member as well when she spoke her words. She sighed, dismissing the pack meeting and as everyone disbanded, she clung to the words she heard of Anubis. He accepted the duties of being her mate, and ruling beside her. It would certainly be a strained relationship at first, but she hoped to grow to like him at least. Her hot pink gaze watched as Anubis stuck around after everyone else had left. "Queen Hecate,” His words beckoned her over. She obliged, leaping from her throne and waltzing to her new mate. Gods was that an interesting new thing, a new mate. She had only ever pledged herself to Kalon, though he never touched her.
. "Thank you for choosing me. Pardon my prying, but I am curious as to why…?” As he bowed his head she gave a silent sigh, he was respectful at least. Her eyes locked with his as she began to speak. "You hold yourself higher than the others that walked in here." She spoke, her voice frank for the first sentence. "And if I am honest, you are the one who caught my eye today. Be it you resemble my own bloodlines, or what have you. It suits you, you carry it well. You seem respectful as well, which I appreciate." She gave a less silent sigh. "And if I am to be honest, I am desperate. You’re the only one I could think of to call on, given all of these features."
Her eyes looked to her paws. "Thank you, for accepting." She spoke softer. "A crown is a heavy burden to bare, doing so with someone beside me will certainly help. As much as I know this is sudden and rushed, I do hope for some sort of kind relationship to come of this. After all, we will need to bring up children together." Her eyes once more went to him, her body moving to brush beside him. "Perhaps I can show you to our new den? If you’d like to share at least." Her plume curled under his chin if he still stood close. "Perhaps we can get head start on this whole “mates” thing." She grinned.
