& i think we're drowning
The Driftwood King was feeling almost fulfilled. His home was gathering more members. He has more family coming in as well, Raven may have passed on but she left behind little nieces and nephews for him. Little did he know he would have more nieces and nephews coming in soon enough. But with all these family members being born and coming in in waves, it only made him want children more. He had already found and wed his soulmate, they just had yet to partake in mating. He gave a soft sigh as he stared out at the waves. Would Marella think the same?
He had changed once more, this time taking on bone plates on his face where the white would be above his eyes, and across his muzzle. He also gained the ability to manipulate water, which would make his transformations easier. Marella had recently changed too, gaining Lamprydae with a blue glow. She was so beautiful, no matter what form she took on. He played with the water, watching the waves roll over the sand and suck back into the ocean for a while. When he heard her call, a smile pulled at his lips. Perhaps it was a good time to ask.
He moved quickly across the beach, finally finding his silver lover. He slowed, gently padding over to her before he came to a stop. His grin on his lips widened. "Hello, my dear." He said softly. "I know you summoned me here, but I've been dwelling on something for quite some time and needed your input." He gave a small pause, glancing to his paws before looking up at her. "I was wondering if you've ever thought of us having children? I've always wanted them, and now I have you as a mate, so ultimately it's up to you."
