The Skyling responded eagerly to the call for a meeting. He loved King Aegir and Queen Marella, and he knew they were amazing rulers for his pack. He still searched for his sister Evergreen, but something in Crimson’s heart told him she was safe, maybe even happy. So he didn’t worry about it that much - though there was definitely worry. As long as she was alive and safe, everything was okay.
Crimson was struck with shock as Aegir began his speech. A war had killed King Beartooth of Tarben and Queen Pandora of Sabertooth? Hadn’t these alphas been reigning for a long time, albeit for different lengths and over different packs . . . Beartooth’s wife had killed him!? And now there was to be a treaty.
Crimson’s heart leapt with a sudden thought . . . if they were to have connections with all the other packs, he could try to find Evergreen!
