Her days as a heavily pregnant lass were quickly catching up on her, she was finding herself repeating the same daily movements to try and help. But eventually, it was too much for her to do. Her belly had swelled so much, it was still freezing out which made it feel even worse. As she slept most of her time away, she dwelt on names. The tiny faces she'd see. She wondered what they would look like, how much she'd see of herself and how much of Achilles would be in each of them. Her heart was full, and she was ready to embrace motherhood. She was terrified to be honest, but she knew she could seek help from her mate. She wouldn't abandon her children the way her mother and fathers would.
With a sudden sharp pain to wake her, her body began to contract. She breathed, hoping the children could wait until Achilles came back. But another contraction ripped through her, her mouth opening to grunt as her body felt like it was being ripped apart. She quickly howled for her beloved mate, letting him know it was time. She began to grow fearful, and her mind went to the worst that could happen.
Fade in, fade out . . .
It took her all morning, day and into the sunset of the last day of winter. Her body was tired, and drained. As she looked over her six children, her heart was full. Her head rested on her paws after she cleaned them off, four were lit up like her, two of which also had wings. The other two children were winged like their father. She was proud, if he was here already she looked to Achilles. "They're perfect . . . What should we name them?" She asked weakly. Amalthea and Shuu had siblings to watch over now as well. Her home was filling with new members, and she was happier than ever.
