Once again, some time had passed. Achilles was busy raising his children, teaching the winged ones how to fly – Aeolus, Alectrona, Hermes, and Khione, while Iris and Apollo stayed to the ground with Shuu and Amalthea, the two adopted Monokeros children of Achilles and Pandora. They were adults now, and their youngest had become teenagers. The youngins were slowly learning the ways of Sabertooth, having been born as royalty. In the past few months, some refugees from Hawthorne made their new home with Sabertooth – Daneliya, Remus, and four children of the female – Chickadee, Derevko, Snowflake, and Calvin. They were making themselves comfortable, and he noticed Remus and Artemis getting closer. He made a mental note as the days passed. Achilles woke up alongside his love in their den, his gray eyes slowly opening to admire her sleeping beauty. He was lucky to end up with Pandora, who had been painted with the skyline. His head slowly lifted to observe all his children as to not wake them. Apollo and Hermes were the farthest apart, while the rest of their children laid between them, in close proximity to each other. It was then that the alpha realized they needed to find their own dens – they were of age now after all. Shuu and Amalthea had found their own homes amongst the hillside around their age. Achilles would attempt to softly place his head on top of Pandora’s, speaking softly as to hope to not wake the children. ”Pandra, my sunshine, I’m going t’ re-mark the borders while everyone’s asleep. I love tch’ya.” He whispered, hoping she’d hear those words in her possibly half asleep stupor. Even after being in Starfall for so long, he hadn’t lost his accent. He only learned to annunciate clearer during the meetings, but said accent would slip through sometimes. The crimson, leather, and chocolate colored male made his way out of the den, stretching his wings and body. That injury to his back leg at this point had healed completely, making the male feel so young again. So young that he wanted to…his mind wandered to Pandora again as he looked back into the den. He wanted more children…he shook his head. Eight was enough, even if 2 were not of his or her blood. Then he began to patrol the borders, marking a tree every 100 feet or so. Upon his completion, as if it were perfect timing, a howl broke out from bottom of the hill. It was Lucaya, but…the bottom of the cliffside? His attention whipped towards the Proving Grounds, immediately taking flight to break the tree coverage. He noticed packs begin to rally – it was the start of a war. And it very much looked like it was to be bloody based on how many packs were there. It looked almost like six different lands…was everyone else involved? What exactly happened to cause such a violent outcome? Without hesitation, he flew back to the center of Sabertooth, letting out a call of his own to rally his own members. He needed everyone to group together considering how close their lands lay to the site of war. They were stronger that way. He also had some announcements to make as an alpha – it had been a while since they had a meeting. He landed and let out a call to the members of Sabertooth to gather to the meeting aptly. There was a fear that ran through him however – what if someone had wandered out the wrong way this morning? Towards the proving grounds? He gulped, waiting patiently for his family and fellow members of Sabertooth to come forth…quickly. Actions & Words.
