The Satori Queen felt the air in her fur, it was a glorious feeling. Her thoughts were shared with Achilles, as always. He too had felt the want for more children. As she felt her fluffy wings catch air, she felt herself in awe. So this was the feeling her children and mate had been able to experience for so long? She missed out on so much. ”Look at tch’ya! My quick learner!” His praise was like music to her audits. A brilliant smile grew over her face and the nervousness of height in the air faded away. She was always safe with her beloved.
At his suggestion, they flew together. She still stayed closer to the ground out of her fear of falling or landing wrong. The den was just in sight when she heard Achilles speak to her. ”Now, my dear Pandra, there’s two ways to land. Either slowly flap tch’ya wings as tch’ya come to a stop and flap them less and less so that tch’ya slowly touch solid ground again, or keep tch’ya wings spread and slightly point tch’ya body mass down.” She nodded, watching him land quickly and with grace. She attempted to replicate his movements, gliding to the Earth near him.
She hopped as she landed a few times. Her wings gently folded onto her back again as she looked to her mate. "That was amazing!" She said happily. She couldn't wait to fly with her family, she had only been concerned about what her wingless children would do. Usually she stuck with them while the others flew. Her eyes stayed on her beloved, as he gestured to their den, winked at her and spoke. ”Afta tch’ya, m’dear Pandra.” She gave a bubbly smile and waltzed into their den. She turned, if he'd follow her into the den she'd move to brush up against his side and nuzzle into his neck. Her fear of growing old already was melting away from her. She waited for him to take her, missing the feeling.
