& if i'm being honest
Her days at Sabertooth grew dull. Once more she hadn't heard from her beloved for quite some time, perhaps dealing with the aftermath of their son Hermes taking in a Tarben girl. Aurora was with child, his children hopefully considering the depths of the circumstances that would surely come about from this. She worried for the sake of her children, the sake of her life. Sabertooth had been free of any entangled drama between the other packs, and yet her own son had just put everything at risk. Her mind went to the boy she had heard of, Aurora was open with them of who the boy she was whisked away from was - Her soulmate, the male who had claimed her before the pack. She had heard rumors of the claiming going on in Tarben, the disgusting things that would come about after that. Even more worrying - The boy was also a prince.
A sigh left her lungs as she dwelt on the matters. Would Tarben pledge war, or would they seek as they did to Hawthorne and steal someone from their pack? Regardless, she kept the pack on high alert, securing the boarders and extra rounds to be sure no one snuck in. She was due shortly, and so was Aurora. This time she hadn't been as large, she hoped that was a good sign that they wouldn't have so many more mouths to feed. Six pups were difficult to manage, but a blessing in its own. She was truly happy with her family, the large one she had dreamed of. No one could take this from her, not her father, not Raz. Not even Hermes decision to bring in Aurora. They would prevail regardless.
The Alphess let out a sharp, soft yell. The contractions were beginning. She quickly rolled to her side, before bringing her jaws to the entrance of the den her and Achilles shared. She let out a pained song for her beloved. "Achilles my dear, it's time!" She let out sharp breaths, hoping to hold out until he got to the den. This wasn't her first time, however she could only hope the little children wouldn't rip her apart with their horns.
fade in, fade out . . .
Pandora felt the cold chill of the air on her face as the sweat began to dry. Her icy blue eyes looked to the four newborns at her teats, a smile crept onto her face. "What beautiful little babies." She said with a soft whisper. If Achilles was in the den, she'd look to him with a smile of both exhaustion and joy. "What should their names be? This little girl looks an awful lot like her father, perhaps Achelois? And this one of my kind, Nike?" She said, her breath calming now that the pain was over.
