As the nights grew longer, and winter grew colder, it was obvious. She was pregnant as could be, her stomach swollen like it was ready to burst any day now. She could only hope they were all Hermes, but she did spend that night with Odin as well. She was growing more and more tired of Odin, he was sweet, but he was not her kind. All she craved was Hermes now. He understood her, respected her, even wanted to sweep her off her feet and away from the icelands of Tarben supposedly. Now she just had to wait, and hope he would come. What if he had forgotten her, or changed his mind? What if all men were like Noctis, only wanting for themselves? She felt pain in her chest as she slowly waddled her way through the ice lands.
Her audits perked at her name being shouted. ”Aurora!” Her head spun to the sky, where her beloved soared. "Hermes!" She called back, her eyes welling with tears. She felt his legs wrap around her before she was literally swept up from the ground, into the air. A gasp left her lips as she looked down at Odin, a grin still present on her face. ”Give me back, my mate!” She laughed as they grew higher into the air, dodging an icicle. Her eyes widened at the power Odin wielded, the attempt at what would surely kill them all if hit, her, Hermes, and their unborn children. Anger flashed through her as her jaws ripped into a snarl at Odin. What was he thinking? ”Hold on!” She heard Hermes before another rose, Hermes brought them up high into the sky.
As they were safe, and Odin came back into view, she watched the brute try and fly but fail. He fell to the ground. A grin slipped back over the Lady's mouth as she heard Hermes laugh. ”They had you paired with that klutz?” She chuckled. "Fortunately enough I had a beautiful Prince to save me from the klutz." She said, before turning her head back to Odin as he called out. ”You’ll rue the day you messed with Odin, son of Beartooth!” Her smile faded as they flew away, towards Sabertooth likely. Her brain immediately began to fear the worst, would her betrayal toward Odin cost a war for Sabertooth? Did Hermes know this could happen when he chose to come rescue her?
”I told ya I’d come to save ya from that hellish landscape, did I not?” She grinned, looking up to him. Her large stomach hanging in the air, as her limbs did too from underneath them both. So this was what flying was like. She wished she could feel this always, with Hermes holding onto her. ”I missed you, Aurora.” She grinned as his voice grew soft, kind. "I've missed you too, Hermes. Thank you." ”Sabertooth, here we come!” Her grin only grew bigger as they grew closer to Sabertooth, and when they did, he lowered her gently to her paws. He landed close to her, nuzzling into her neck and face. Her plume wagged, as she nuzzled her head up under his chin. She didn't want to leave his grasps ever again. ”I’m so glad you’re okay. Dear Aurora, forgive me. I did not realize you would be barren with children from our rendezvous, and I have to make my, er, our den larger. Feel free to make yourself at home and take it easy. That flight was a little bumpy.”
She gave a soft laugh, shaking her head as he began to walk into their den and make more room. "It's quite alright, my Prince. I didn't expect it either." She said, sitting down on her hip to be more comfortable. Her paw "I can't help but be worried however, you just stole away another Princes mate - This won't affect Sabertooth, will it?" Her audits flattened as she looked to him, concern apparent in her eyes. "I didn't mean to make such a mess of things. I'm sorry. Thank you for saving me, and taking me in." She said, a small smile present on her face.
