Marius was doing some training with Achilles during the night hours. This was more for Marius to learn how to wield his light manipulation ability against foes, but they had not done much when his lovely mate called out for him. Of course, the alpha knew the urgency, only offering Marius a slight nod and a smile to dismiss him. Marius took bolting out of the clearing to go to Cosette, and he arrived just as Cosette gave birth to the first pup. When all were born, Marius’s green eyes met those of his mate’s for a brief moment and her words made him smile. ”They’re beautiful, my love…” He ducked his head down, nuzzling her cheek gently and whispering ”That’s because of you, dear Cosette.” He stepped back as Cosette named each of the five little ones – Beau, Clarette, Fantine, Valjean, and Antoinette. He gently laid himself down to circle around the other side of them, facing Cosette. ”Rest, my dear. You’ve done wonderfully, and must be tired. I love you, and I can’t wait to see these little ones up and bounding about.” He smiled softly, laying his head on his paws. He couldn’t wait to have Eponine be the best aunt ever to these five rascals.
