in the memories i keep of you
The situation at hand could have been much more dangerous for this family had it not been the Princess who found them. Everyone was under much stress in the packs, and no one took well to strangers wandering in. Her aggression certainly was not something she was used to, hell, she had never snarled in a menacing way. The plague was putting everyone on edge as loved ones began to die off. Her father soon would be passing as well, she knew it too well. Aelous needed to ascend the throne.
Frost spoke up, a small smile creeping over the Goddess's face. “Yes, they are looking for shelter, along with me. Please. They look like they have been starving for days, they’re scared, they need help,” She looked to the mother, a twinge in her eye as she wondered why the adult hadn't hunted for food. She didn't speak on the matter though, instead listening as the family spoke, listening as Frost introduced everyone but her mothers name. “So, please help us. I know you already said you’ll accept us into your pack, but we need more than just help,” She cocked her head to the side. "What would help you, besides being members? If it's food, I can find food." She said with a smile and a wink before taking to the sky with grace.
She was only gone for a moment, disappearing into the trees before she reappeared with two large hares in her jaws. She set them down on the ground for the family, before her icy eyes looked to them. "Eat up, everyone." She grinned, before looking to the mother. "They can be quite a handful, I'm sure. We do have a Zeta currently to help take care of the pups, if you ever need a break for some personal time. There's also another litter here at the moment of young pups, likely around the same age. Their mother . . . Well, they only have their father now. He's our packs Beta. Perhaps you two could be friends as well." She gave her a friendly smile. "Please help yourself as well to any prey you find around here, better game is at the Hunting Grounds though. But prey here eat my herbs, so any pest control is greatly appreciated. Say- I never caught your name." Her head tilted once more to the mother. "I believe I'll leave you to it, you can set up a den anywhere inlands - except for the outskirts to the East by the sea. Stay out of that area, it's quarantined. I'll alert my brother of your arrival." The Goddess said with a smile, before turning to walk away.
Walk, "Talk", Think.
