The sudden appearance of the white, black, and positively glowing man slightly startled Esmeray, but it didn’t show. “Are you not cold? It’s freezing, perhaps you’d like to find shelter. I know of a place nearby, if you’re not scared of strangers.” The strange man’s smirk intrigued the ice Elemental. “I only bite a little.”
Here was Esma’s chance to actually have some fun. She grinned, mirroring the stranger’s smirk. “I happen to be an ice Elemental. I’m not bothered by a little bit of snow.” She rose to a half-standing position, banner wrapping around her legs invitingly. “Oh, no. A few strangers don’t scare me at all. If anything, they’re rather . . . exciting.” Esmeray blinked in a sultry manner, smirk widening. Pale green eyes met the hellishly handsome newcomer’s own dark red; Esmeray’s white brindles rippled with her every move. “But if you insist, I may want shelter for a while.”
