Despite some minor D1 interest, My boys chose to wrestle NAIA because they knew that they would competing for the team and getting more bang for their buck with scholarships. They missed out on the celebrity of being D1, but they competed in college for four years and came out with minor debt compared to their contemporaries. Only the athlete can answer what is best for them. Some will choose D1 hands down even if they never get in, others want to be in the line up no matter what and may choose D3 as a result. Some will be in the middle and choose NAIA. No matter which they choose, Iím just happy to see these athletes continue in the sport.
