I have lived in Portland and it has gone down hill over the past 20 years.... I have worked there also and Yes there are great people there... BUTTTTT, they don;t speak up, stand up or shout out about what is going on in the city... just keep your head down and keep walking, biking, tramming to your job.
It is always a few who screw thing up for the many because in this climate the few will target you an get you fired, or worse. NO??? How about Cleveland Football Coach who got fired because his day job was being a Policeman, which the school knew about in advance... who's prejudice???
