I am in no way shape or form minimizing suicide, the topic is heart wrenching.

I really would like to see concrete numbers on this suicide argument due to Covid. People love to throw this out when discussing sports lock downs. Can anyone provide the DATA they are referencing when arguing this point.

I could also argue that over zealous wrestling parents and coaches have caused a myriad of problems as well. I have witnessed parents and coaches push wrestlers in the sport beyond the point of enjoyment. I have also witnessed many of these wrestlers grow up to resent their parents and wrestling experience. Many of these wrestlers turned to alcohol and drugs, I could argue it was due to their wrestling experience. There are some of these people who eventually took their lives. You will argue that wrestling has nothing to due with it. I would beg to differ.

You can’t discount my argument, but still push your Covid is causing suicide argument without data.
