Santos provides a great place and good coaches for all ages of wrestling. When other clubs push their good wrestlers out of their gyms. He takes them in and teaches them. I know of several really good wrestlers that have left or was ask to leave because Lara got his feelings hurt and then Lara tells them to leave. Lara can't provide coaches at tournaments like Salem Elite can. The fact that Salem Elite has more coaches wanting to be apart of that program and not Mat Sense should speak volumes. Why can't Thurston or Roseburg provide a place for the kids. They can but are choosing not too. Salem Elite is atleast doing a great job with keeping his guys going. Singletons travel everywhere for practices and wrestling so I don't count them as just Roseburg kids. Most of the Thurston guys have been going to Salem Elite for awhile now. I would count them as his. Potter is there now because Lara got mad at him for wrestling in a dual tournament with Salem Elite and then told him he was banned from mat sense. Which makes know sense at all. Guys join other dual teams all the time for more matches. So sounds like other coaches are dropping the ball and Salem Elite is picking up the pieces.
