Not walking through life scared. Currently walking through life knowing that we are in the midst of a pandemic that has the potential to kill many. Albeit the risk lies more with our elderly population I still value their lives and well being.

As far as your accomplishment comment. I would venture to guess that I have accomplished more in the sport of wrestling than have you. Looking back on it I am continual struck by feeling of insignificance. The trophies and medals truly mean nothing. It is the experiences I gained through wrestling that have value.

My guess is that you are the type that would probably cut your elementary aged kids down a weight class or two so they could win a medal at xxxxx tourney.

I am not and will not sit at home scared as you like to say. However I do feel that possibly missing ONE year of wrestling is a relatively small sacrifice to make if it helps us as a society get through this pandemic.
