Your exactly right. It cuts both ways. It's ok for the blustering CV blowhards to come on this board and shit on every kid in this state who isn't up to their standards of greatness. However when they themselves don't live up to the hype how dare you question their greatness! Last I checked every kid that makes the choice to participate in this sport disserves the same consideration. Nope not the CV ego maniacs. We are great everyone else sucks they have weak divisions we travel to prove our greatness look at me I don't have to follow the rules because I have a title next to my name. So I will ask again. Why did they underperform at Fargo? I bet it wasn't a lack of effort on their part. Who likes spending 7 days getting their ass kicked at Fargo. Why transfer to CV? Why doesn't CV get any respect or recognition by their piers beyond this board? Why hasn't CV earned coach of the year? Some programs build their own others try to tear them down by recruiting them away. The kids who rise to the top will do so regardless of location. Robbing other programs of those kids actually hurts the sport of wrestling. It makes it less competitive as a whole and it removes the opportunity for other kids to learn from and be exposed to the top level kids technique and work ethic in the room.
