Re: Super draft
Grow up. If you don't think Tim is making money you're out of your mind. Why would anyone do this for free. Tim has this on cruise control with everyone doing his work. It might be hard but there is some math involved here. On average a complex field rental is 300 per field. Then you have a light fee. So for a weekend in Orem lets say it's 3600 for a 2 day rental and the light fees. Balls lets just say are another 800-1000 that they aren't making money on. Umpires lets say are making 25 per game. Do an average of 10 games a day per 5 fields, 1250 in Umpiring costs. Usssa takes a fee with registration fee, but let's say they want 10% per team that plays for using the Usssa name. So knowing you have to pay usssa a little to run under their name lets say entry is 400. Usssa takes 40 per team. They get 25 teams across all divisions. With some variable costs lets say it's gonna cost them 6650 to run it for the weekend. He needs 17 teams at 400 to break even. Where do you think the 8 teams entries goes.... Tim and his org makes a little money. That's just how it goes. Get over it. Either don't play, or play a different org, but know no matter where you go. Someone is making money.
