The better teams play usssa. Plain and simple. All the teams in one nation, afa, whoever aren’t near the caliber of comp in the same divisions.
Usssa is better and unfortunately you have to deal with Tim.
If you don’t want to, which afa gets plenty of teams you don’t have to. Thats the glory of it all.
