"Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem." The overall point I was making is that in small communities such as mine, any tragedy to a family is heartbreaking to the entire community, but when you have so many in such a time-frame as this, and when completely unexpected, it becomes 10-fold in shock and sadness, especially when children and youth are involved. Aimee, the receptionist at my Dr.'s office, was engaged and getting married in June. She was 29-years-old. In this community, no matter the circumstances, people rally and support the families who are left behind to deal with the horrific aftermath. It has always been that way. We simply "put ourselves in their shoes" as many of us (including people posting here) have been, literally, at some point in our lives.
