I'm renting a 2022 Tesla Model 3 from Hertz and using it for work. The "Vegan Leather" is already sagging and coming loose.
Everywhere that my arms rub on the leather is coming loose. It seems like my sunscreen is causing the problem.
Could the chemicals in sunscreen be causing the Vegan Leather to fall apart?
Is there any way to fix it?
Will Hertz want me to pay for the damage?
Will I ever be allowed to rent another car from Hertz?
If the leather is so flimsy that sunscreen causes it to fall apart, should the owners manual have a warning telling customers about the problem?
