GR is accurate and time tested, but there is something wrong with it
It doesn't answer any of the bigger questions, and it is incompatible with the standard model. When I try to resolve these issues, spacetime curvature gets in the way. It's an obstacle to further progress. I have a theory that does not require it, does exactly what GR does, but bypasses its limitations. It is compatible with the standard model, and goes further. It's frankly glorious. A physicist might use the terms "elegant" or "beautiful", although I already question their sense of aesthetics. The only issue I have is formalizing it. I read somewhere that Einstein himself had to get tutoring to formalize GR. I might have to do the same. Or maybe I'll take it to my grave. Regardless, I'm confident that I've beaten GR. GR was quite good though, I admit.
