That's the missing drawing I mentioned now in the vestry! Your information Norman is the right one but the one that I found wrong was wrong I reported to Tony Dirkin in the Diocese office in Newcastle. How it was wrong was because a parishoner was paid a heafty sum to do some research. He drank the money and guessed the rest as confirmed by 2 parishes.The blue black bricks are made by firing at over 1000° in an oxygen free kiln. Hebburn old houses are fullof them and they are very hard to drill if you can!Thanks Norman and James for helping set the record straight. It's people like us who do our homework and get accurate information.
