Here and there in Israel are olive trees more than 2000 years old
with histories of being tended and cared for by the same families. Most to all are Palestinian. The genealogies of families caring for these trees, and benefiting from their agricultural industry carries more legal and scientific weight than imaginary histories or governmental documentation.
