Yes.... School rules cover things other than ONLY violence...
Just because one pays tuition does not mean that one has singular and sole authority over what school resources and spaces they use for what reason. Let's take 2 students and one location. 1. A football player 2. A protestor And an open patch of grass. One wants to use it to throw the football around for practice. And one wants to use it for a protest. The arbiter in this matter is the SCHOOL itself. And if EITHER student who doesn't get their way wants to refuse to leave the space, they ARE breaking the rules and may suffer consequences. If protestors 'occupy' the deans office, they may be expelled.... And as long as they are aware of this, then their expulsion is their choice.
