and of course, “ spaghetti sauce”,
from tomatoes n spices from her
backyard garden, or, as it was
known at the table, gravy -
I never did learn Grandma Vaccaro’s
secrets for her ravioli, ‘from scratch’,
but I helped with the boy size tasks…
and I still make a sauce worthy of
second helpings.
