Guessing for ICE vehicle, not significant, but it is for EVs it is. .
Speaking from my own experience, noticed observable differences before and after tinting in my EV (which is like a greenhouse with the glass roof). I can monitor energy usage in real time and it was 10-15% difference in range before and after tinting. This was in May when heat was not as bad. Guessing the spread was bigger in the middle of the summer. For EVs it's almost a requirement for ceramic/carbon tinting. Guessing a few get it for the looks, but most of those EV drivers have it tinted to reduce heat and save previous kWhs from AC usage. Previous Message so if the interior of your car is cooler you're not running your AC as much and thus you're saving your fuel efficiency. but it's likely such a small impact that you wouldn't really notice it, nor would it really save you much money unless you drive your car for, like, 30 years. I have no numbers to prove or disprove that
