The airlines has announced that on April 8, they will be offering a number of flights that are meticulously timed to coincide with the peak of the eclipse, along the path of totality, allowing viewers an amazing opportunity to witness the event mid-air.
Southwest Flight #1252 is scheduled to take off from Dallas Love Field at 12:40 p.m. CDT, bound for Pittsburgh. Southwest Flight #1721 is scheduled to take off from Austin at 12:55 p.m. CDT, with Indianapolis as its final destination.
