a much worse, totally unforced, turnover that no one talks about, among others. but every dain miscue is amplified by our fanbase, which is just freaking weird.
and missed bunnies is now part of doing things wrong, now?
the bizarrely different standard that you hold dain to is both maddening and baffling.
the guy was a warrior in the paint both on D and in reboudning. he shoots 50% or better from the field in every game. he committed a bad foul last night.
but he most definitely did not do a bunch of things wrong compared to the other players. it's like saying shannon did a bunch of things wrong last night by committing some dumb fouls and clanking a number of wide open shots.
come on!

I was saying that the main thing that kept Dain off the court this season was that Underwood was not satisfied with his effort on the glass. Well last night, he did a bunch of things wrong but the one thing he did from start to finish was rebound. And Underwood ignored the bad stuff and left him in through all of it as a result.
He only had 6 total but his effort going to the boards all night was impressive.
For the first time since March 24, 2005 - 19 years and 4 days - when Illinois defeated Satan and his UW-Milwaukee squad in the middle of a march to the National Championship game, Illinois will play in the Sweet 16.
A little more than 14 hours until tip time. Let’s get this one. This team is too fun to stop watching.
